The limpid river winding by my cottage , 
The wicket door opens to the old passage . 
The ruts to market town are all grass-grown ; 
Living remote , I mind not my shabby gown . 
The willows frailly swing their strings $(of hair)$ , 
The loquats cluster on trees , scenting the air . 
The sun is westering with golden rings ; 
On kiddles the cormorants bask their wings .
